Wine, bikes and views
On foot from the house
Kojsko castle is a hundred metres away. Guests recommend the walk up to the church on the hill above the village for the view across Brda.
By bike
The Brda cycling routes are close to the house. Keep your own bike at the house or hire one from us (extra charge).
Wine cellars
Brda has many winemakers who welcome guests for tastings. We are happy to tell you where to go.
Through the year
Cherries ripen in June and the grape harvest is in autumn. Summers are hot, so spring and autumn are best for cycling.

How to get to Kojsko
By car from Ljubljana
120 km, about an hour and a half. The motorway to Nova Gorica, then through Solkan into Brda.
By car from Italy
From Gorizia 14 minutes, from Udine 47 minutes, from Trieste an hour.
By plane
Trieste Airport 38 minutes, Ljubljana 1 hour 45 minutes, Venice 2 hours. We can arrange an airport transfer for an extra charge.
By train
The nearest stations are Gorizia Centrale and Nova Gorica, both just over 10 minutes by car.
